The NCAFC National Student Demo against Privatisation, London, England, UK. Approximately 4,000 police officers were on duty, as student demonstrators marched peacefully in a protest against higher tuition fees and "privatisation" in universities through central London. After the violence of 2010, at a similar student fees protest, the Metropolitan Police had warned they might use plastic bullets in "extreme circumstances" and sent letters to many activists warning them not to attend. Twenty people were arrested. The police estimate that about 2,500 people took part in the demonstration. The police were particularly keen to stop demonstrators reaching the financial district of the city and near the Bank of England, where the Occupy Camp remains. A couple of weeks ago I was honoured to be asked to present and exhibit some of my artworks at the “Unmasked” Digifest and annual research conference 2021, based in Durban, South Africa
A lot of my recent commissions have been as a construction photographer in Merseyside and beyond. I've worked for both development companies and directly for manufacturers as their products are being installed on site.
"Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank-you so much for the brilliant job you did for us in Bootle barracks the other week – we hit the Echo and also the Plymouth Daily (where we have an interest in veterans services) so we were dead chuffed."
